From the west coast to the east coast to the gulf coast, unofficial meetups are happening and unforgettable stories are being made through blurry nights. The love was certainly present in Philly, with the Philadelphia Chivers hosting a destination meetup attracting Chivers from more than a dozen states and even abroad. The Houston Chivers kicked it old school, recreating their very first unofficial meetup by “going back to the basics” and raising $6,534 for Chive Charities. The Berry Washington teamed up with INW Chive to form one of the most pinkest teams to participate for the Komen Race for the Cure, raising over $900 while doing so. Chive On California did what they do best and raised a ton of donations for Lucky Pup Dog Rescue is San Diego. It’s been a very busy couple of weeks, with much positive outcome – so let’s cheers to that.
The unofficial meetups are rolling along and getting Chivers together from sun down to sun up, so be sure to check out the ‘Events on the Horizon’ section to find a meetup near you and remember what momma told you: make us proud. Have a blast, keep it fun, get wasted, and tip the shit out of the staff. To find an upcoming meetup and local Chive Chapter near you, check out theCHIVE Nation Community Map and follow Chive Nation on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

If you’ve ever attended any of Houston Chivers’ events, chances are you’ve met Veronica. After suffering spinal cord surgery from an accident back in 2012, Veronica’s become one of the most active volunteers for Houston. If you see her at any of the next Houston meetups, be sure to say hi, she’s usually the one with the biggest smile in the room.
