Mardi Gras, or “Fat Tuesday” in english, is the pre-Lent holiday where one gorges on fatty foods before lent comes and ruins all of the fun. At least that is what it once was. Today, Mardi Gras is more of a week-long drunken parade for New Orleans’ finest to party in the streets and flash their ta-tas for beads.
